The Creative House presents THE DINNER THEATRE in association with Geek SOS Services Ltd.

Two Broadway legends. One dinner theatre in Moncton New Brunswick. A show that was never supposed to matter — until it did. When faded leading man Liam Mitchell finds himself starring opposite the woman he let go twenty-five years ago, an emergency cast replacement turns into an unexpected reckoning. Confined to a cramped dressing room between scenes of Fiddler on the Roof, with a stage manager who has a plan for everything (including, apparently, love), old wounds reopen backstage — and a story meant to unfold behind the curtain becomes bigger than the show itself. Featuring a soaring original score of ballads and showstoppers, The Dinner Theatre is a bittersweet, funny, and deeply human story about second acts — on stage and off.

Written by Canadian recording artist Rick Worrall, who also stars as Liam Mitchell, this world premiere production will be produced by The Creative House, directed by Angela Quinn with music direction by Neville Bowman. Kelowna favourite Gwen Plitt returns to the stage as Sarah Rogers, with soprano supreme Carmen Harris as the whirlwind stage manager Cheryl holding it all together. Don't miss the world premiere of a musical about the moments that happen when the applause fades and the mirror doesn't lie.
